To all of our friends and neighbors at Half Moon Bay:Two months ago I was diagnosed with malignant kidney cancer. The last month or so has been a real roller coaster ride for Tom and I as we went from specialist to specialist. The decision was that I had to have part of my left kidney removed and soon. Last Wednesday at the Cleveland Clinic in Weston, Dr. Muruve did the surgery. I am now on the road to complete recovery.

To say that we are overwhelmed by love, friendship, kind acts and prayers is an under statement.

This diagnosis, surgery, and recovery is one of the most difficult and emotional times in our lives. Lucky for us we live in Half Moon Bay. If I could chose a family to surround me with concern and care I could not have chosen better.

You have all been the most supportive group of people. Whether it was to stop by, telephone, let me cry, feed us, give us words of encouragement, say prayers or just keep us in your hearts.

We are so filled with joy that I am now in recovery and we had all of you to hold onto. You touch my soul with your love,

Nancy
